The offered oil bath is used to test the resistance of oil for fittings for rigid non-metallic conduits that is carried out by immersing the test specimen in insulation oil maintained at a temperature of 60 ± 1°C for a period of 48 hours and after this period, the fitting is taken out and kept at room temperature for 15 minutes and then the fitting is examined for the affect of oil.
